National Night Out

National Night Out - Annual Celebration 1st Tuesday in August:

• • This is a community/police awareness raising event sponsored by the Fairfax County Crime Prevention Program.

    • It is meant to increase awareness about police programs in communities, such as drug prevention, Neighborhood Watch, and other anti-crime efforts.

    • This event encourages resident to lock their doors, turn on outdoor lights and spend the evening outside with their neighbors and law enforcement officers as a symbol that they care about their neighbors.

  • In Indian Run, residents enjoy an Ice Cream Social in the central common area at 7:00 p.m. Reminder notices are posted and distributed to all residents.
